Road to Zion

I’ve had many questions about this song Road to Zion and I’m not sure how to answer them. In one sense, I, as a songwriter, have to take a stance for passion to bubble to the top, and so in this song I do. But it is in a general form, and not to every mom pop church, or political “Christian” organization. But in a broad sense, I believe it’s time for the church to once again, become a quiet and peaceable people and get out of the political spotlight until we go back home and learn what it means to be a Church again.. you know that thing with the wine and bread they used to do every week at the price of their own lives? But hey.. I guess 3rd wednesday night… that’s a good “symbol” that this is the center of our worship.
