Here is a series I wrote awhile back concerning the religion of AA. I argue that it is a pagan religion and any “one God” beliver should and can’t be apart of it. The only argument you will ever find from a Alcoholics Anonymous follower is a personal argument that it “worked” for them because there is no scientific evidence, and if there was, I wouldn’t trust that either because this field of genetics and addiction is very speculative. Yo will usually hear, “Joe bobby drank like a fish every day for 50 years, but he came to AA and was cured!” You can get the same personal experience from the David Korish cult, Heavens Gate, Scientology, and on and on… who cares.. what works is that people feel as though they are an important part of a movement or tribe. I was forced to go to AA meetings for 6 months against my will.. I was nice But I couldn’t resist one Jab… I told them my higher power was Dionysus (The God of Wine and drunkenness) they all said.. hey if it works for you.. go for it. It’s pragmatism at it’s worse.. it works in some situations, but not in he spiritual, existential end things.

hmm.. what did you used to argue over? It must be pretty bad, because your words here would ban you from the big three (Gods) for sure.. and all of them originate with one angry God… I personally would rather have bad arguments..
